Privacy Policy

OOF Studio ("OOF", "we", "us") provides an agentic IDE for Roblox creators, including a desktop app, website, and a Roblox Studio plugin that connects to a local bridge on your machine. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

What We Collect

Billing information: If you purchase a subscription, payments are processed by Stripe. We may store limited billing identifiers like Stripe customer/subscription IDs.
Support and contact submissions: When you submit a support request or idea, we store the content you send (including your email and message).
Usage metadata: We may log basic operational events (for example: API endpoint called, timestamps, and coarse environment info) to troubleshoot reliability and prevent abuse.
AI prompts and outputs: When you use AI features, your prompts and relevant context may be sent to AI providers you have configured (for example: OpenAI or Anthropic) to generate code or plans.

How We Use Information

Provide and operate the product (generation, syncing, billing, and licensing).
Prevent abuse and enforce plan limits (credits, rate limits, and feature entitlements).
Respond to support requests and improve product quality.

Local-First Studio Access

The Roblox Studio plugin talks to a local bridge running on 127.0.0.1 (localhost). Your Studio content is modified on your machine. The plugin contains no secrets and does not embed paid logic; entitlements are enforced by the desktop/cloud services.

Sharing

Stripe for payment processing.
Email provider (for example: SendGrid) for transactional email if configured.
AI providers you configure for generation.

Data Retention

We retain data as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We may also retain aggregated metrics that do not identify you directly.

Your Choices

You can disable AI usage by not configuring AI provider API keys on your machine.
You can deactivate your local license on a device via the Billing page.
You can request help or deletion of a support/idea submission by emailing privacy@oofstudio.dev.
